This morning was wonderful! Bright and full of color! It made me think of spring and summer and valentines day all in one! My daughter had a *crazy* dress up day at school. As usual, I jump at the opportunity to assist her in dressing up. I am always honored when my family or friends ask for some assistance in this department, because its my FAVORITE department to be in :)
Our *crazy day* theme....80s, Madonna, punk, princess.
Our rules: No hats (requested by the school) and for me as a mom, no make-up.
This keeps things fuss free.
The best part: we planned the entire outfit the night before, and because we just had to work on the hair, getting dressed took no longer then a regular morning - FABULOUS! And the weather was also on our side today! It was only -8, so it was warm enough to attend school with the pink/glitter hair without a hat on this morning!
To make my day even more bright and beautiful, I took a minute to grab a caramel latte from the woodshed (The BEST little shop in Hay River I think) and was HAPPY as soon as I saw this AFFORDABLE and cute pink table setting, bench and heart shaped cheese cakes!
I am telling you, if I wasnt so focused on watching the Daytona 500 on Valentines Day - my boyfriend would be in a LOT of retail trouble lol.
I would LOVE anything from this pretty pink collection for our home! *Hint Hint* lol.

My Bunny (my daughter) and I are planning a Valentines Day *Sweat Shop* (lol) We will be using a Martha Stewart Valentines Day Card idea! So exciting! I think we have almost 30 cards to make! We will be posting how the craft olymics went as soon as they are all complete (GO TEAM CANADA!) lol
T.G.I.F. everyone and have a great evening!
